The kids all liked the pinata, but did not come close to breaking it open. Jon took it care of it.
This holiday also brought another first for Gus: Gummy candy. Beth brought "dirt" complete with gummy worms. Beth, Tom, Gus, Nathan, Lara, Anna.
Sheri brought these balloons. The kids liked these even more than the pinata and I had had enough sangria to take the edge off and tolerated them better than would be expected. My new friend still do not know about my balloon phobia.

Menu:
Finger foods. Much easier than last year, but I attempted too many hot things for one little oven. Seriously considering desert and cocktails for next year. Pinata and dirt a must.

yay! fun pictures. lara still asks for worms with chocolate mud for dessert, by the way - any time there is a picture of birds eating worms, or any time we talk about you guys or i show her your blog. so funny.
also, that picture of gus and theo's tummies you have as your header is sooo cute!
