Gus is riding a two-wheeler! Without the extra two wheels. Basically, he saw Zach riding his on April 14th, and wasn't going to rest until he could do it, too.
Note, no more Mountain Dew helmet. Too small. It, and the Curious George sticker on it, will be missed. Gus got a lot of compliments from the skating crowd for that helmet. And he seemed to really enjoying telling people how he got the sticker at the ER. Maybe he suspected it would earn him credibility with the skateboarders.
So now that Gus can ride, he is focused on riding faster. Theo is helping him train.
Theo ditched Jonathan. He was slowing him down.
I cannot believe my baby is riding a two-wheeler. I had no idea how impressed I would be by it. He seems so old. And free. He has a mode of transportation. Heck, some people ride their bikes to work. He could ride to work. Or run away and get really far. It's a little terrifying.
And to say Gus's loves riding his two-wheeler, would be a huge understatement. He wakes up, immediately gets dressed, goes down to the kitchen and puts on his sneakers and helmet, checks out his bike, and not-so-patiently waits for us to take him out riding.
