We spent the Fourth at the swim club party. The pool staff went all out blowing up all sorts of floats for pool races.
We participated in the five and under horse race. We came in at the back of the pack. Totally my fault.
The "dragon boats" were by far the most impressive floats. I had to assure the boys that this is not the type of boat I go on in the river.
Despite the record heat, the boys were content to sit at the edge of the lap pool and watch races. I am sure they will want to compete next year.
