playing in the water

This afternoon while the boys were napping, I dug the sand and water table out of deep storage and set it up in the garden. Gus spotted it from the playroom window and asked what it was. Though it was his favorite toy last summer, he seemed to have no memory of it, which is actually good, since I am not putting sand in it this year.


It will simply be a water table, with one side for Theo and one side for Gus.


Theo loves playing in the water . . .


and wore himself out from all that standing and reaching.


He recharged by throwing his hat in.

Gus wants to play with this again tomorrow. Hmmmmm. A little kiddie pool may be safer for both of them. Maybe this will contain sand, after all.
